Every Friday: weapons of focus rotate each month between Sabre (September), Foil (October), Epee (November)
- Beginner Youth @ 5pm
- Intermediate Youth @ 6pm
- Adult (14+ years old) @ 7pm

Ages 7-14
This class focuses on the fundamental rules and skills of modern Olympic fencing. Students learn skills such as basic footwork and bladework with the foil, epee and saber, as well as the basic rules of play and safety requirements of the sport.
Coach-led instruction is in groups as well as working with a partner. There is time for fencing bouts with each other in each class. Please wear clothing you can exercise comfortably in, including athletic shoes and long, loose pants.
Bring your own equipment or equipment may be rented on a first-come first-served basis for $10 per month. Drop-ins are welcome (if space allows) at $13 per class or monthly registrations (recommended) for a discounted rate.
Gear purchase for Intermediate and Adult classes is recommended.

Competition Epee
Who should consider Competition Epee? Those 14 years and up who want to train to learn the more advanced skills necessary as well as increase their endurance to participate in USFA-sanctioned tournaments. Coach Elliott is a USFA nationally ranked fencer and we are excited to have him available to train our students.

USA Fencing Membership
$34.00 - $104.00
All Active Students* are required to have a USA Fencing membership. Membership is recommended to be purchased directly through USA Fencing If purchased here through HPFG a $5 service charge is applied to cover our administrative cost to register for you. *A USA Fencing membership is required by all individual members of USA Fencing Member Clubs who utilize the USA Fencing insurance program. Your first class at one of our facilities is of no charge. At the end of class if you decide to continue with the sport a USA Fencing membership is required. Your first class is the first class you participate in. If you drop by to watch a class but do not participate then we will not consider that your first class so you may take advantage of actively participating next time with no cost. All USA Fencing Membership Benefits can be found HERE. There are two types of memberships: Access Membership ($29/year): This is the recommended base level membership for all fencers starting out and for those not yet ready to compete in rated tournaments. Competitive Membership ($99/year): Ready to take the next step and compete at a Regional, National or International competition? As a competitive member, you'll have the right to enter and compete in these prestigious, fun-filled tournaments located in cities across the country. A Competitive Membership is required for all HPFG students taking the Competitive Epee or Competitive Foul classes. ** USA Fencing membership is separate from class fees. A membership entitles you to the benefits provided by USA Fencing only. |
